Gallery SADE Los Angeles is pleased to present Me and You and Me and, a maximalist group exhibition of 60+ friends and collaborators bound by shared interests in assemblage, copy errors, and new geometries. Pressed within inches of one another, their works, spanning all manner of media, thread a lively collage of new connections. Enfolded are scraps of daily landscape–of viral media, branding, and studio detritus–and portals to imagined planes and mythic bodies. Through its entirety, repetitions build, layers collapse, glitches and sutures accumulate to distort the familiar. Readings, tattoo pop-ups, and vendor events will activate the exhibition space through its runtime. Programming and curation by Zoe Alameda, Alex Carmen, Roma Edwards, Laurena Roytberg, Kayli Temple, Ashlynn Trane, and Gabriel Tolson.
